Programs

4-H Clubs

The county 4-H program is organized by smaller local community clubs. If you are interested in joining 4-H, you should contact a Community Club Leader. You can find this information below.

These clubs meet monthly throughout Clarksburg, Davis, Woodland, and the Esparto/Capay Valley. At the meetings they discuss activities and events that are happening. Youth officers run these meetings and are guided by adults.

Youth members select to participate in smaller project groups, where they spend time learning specific skills, such as how to raise a chicken, do a presentation or build a rocket.

The 4-H program follows the school calendar. Most meetings begin in September and conclude for the summer in June.
