Farm Connection Day

In partnership with the Yolo County Farm Bureau and Yolo County 4-H, the Yolo County Farm Connection Day is back
(Check out the video from the 2012 event HERE.)

Join us on May 3, 2019 at the Yolo County Fairgrounds!

Farm Connection Day is a wonderful opportunity for local school children to:
*Learn and interact with farm animals of all shapes and sizes
*View creative arts and sciences projects - from sewing to engineering
*See project demonstrations of archery, dog obedience, and SO MUCH MORE!

4-H’ers are the hosts for Farm Connection Day.  To be present, they get approval to attend as part of an approved school ‘field trip’.  The procedures approved by the school districts are necessary to provide proper oversight of the 4-H Student Hosts during this absence from school.

  • 4-H Adult Chaperones, click here to register as a Chaperone for the Student Hosts (due no later than April 1st, no hardcopy form required).

  • For 4-H'ers, click here to pre-register as a Student Host by April 1st. At the end of the process, you will have links to the Permission Slip forms with direction to select the appropriate Permission Slip form, download, complete and submit it to the 4-H office by April 29th.  (No form, no badge.)
